To make your supply chain visible, determine:
- What are starting and finishing points of your supply chain?
- Do you finish with ultimate customer
for your products/services or do you finish
with just your immediate customer?
- Do you go back just to your direct
suppliers or do you go back to supplier's
suppliers?
- What departments in your organization should be in included
in supply chain (e.g. purchasing, accounting, receiving)?
- Do you want supply chain to be visible on
regular basis or
just periodically when you perform analysis?
These and many other questions need to be addressed when
